Check out the video below, which compares Fellowship’s Extended and Theatrical Blu-Rays, to see what the change looks like (watch it in full screen, trust me). The extended DVD version of Fellowship does not have this problem, nor does the theatrical Blu-Ray version of Fellowship, nor do the other two Extended Edition Blu-Rays. It only exists in Fellowship of the Ring, only in the Extended Edition, and only on Blu-Ray. The Blu-Ray version of the Fellowship of the Ring: Extended Edition has a significantly altered color timing, resulting in a green hue across the entire movie. (Which one, you ask? All three, obviously.) But the latest Blu-Ray collection has one glaring problem. The Lord of the Rings is easily my favorite movie of all time.
